Packed with Vitamin C, B3 and B5, cranberries can reduce acne, build collagen and have even been shown to help slow skin cancer. That?s reason enough for us to indulge in the tart treat, especially on Thanksgiving when cranberry sauce is a table favorite.

One small problem: Many store-bought varieties are high in sugar and low in natural ingredients, greatly reducing the remarkable benefits that the?berry provides. That?s exactly why we found a healthier (and even more delicious!) homemade alternative below.

Ingredients:
12 oz cranberries
1 apple, cored and chopped into 1/3-inch pieces
? cup raw organic honey
? cup water
1 ? Tbsp. fresh minced ginger
Zest and juice of ? lemon
1/8 tsp. sea salt
